CRYLOTECH STD is designed as an Elastomeric Weatherproofing paint for concrete terraces, walls, bridge decks, retaining walls etc to provide long service life, anti-carbonation, waterproof protection.

CRYLOTECH STD consists selected blend of polymers with the inherent flexibility that allows the membrane to accommodate movements in the substrate. CRYLOTECH STD is specially formulated to seal, decorate and simultaneously waterproof exterior surfaces in a two coats application. It can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray.

White liquid with brushable consistency. Other colours are available on request..

CRYLOTECH STD is supplied in ready-to-use condition and hence does not require any mixing. However, it is preferable to stir the contents prior to application.
Application should be done with Brush or Roller.

APPLICATION

Good surface preparation is essential. All substrates should be mechanically sound and free of surface contaminants. Rough areas and honeycombing should be levelled prior to the application of CRYLOTECH STD.

Prior to application, the area must be cleaned thoroughly and wetted with water, ensuring that there is no standing-water. When the concrete appears to be drying, then the primer coat of CRYLOTECH STD should be applied. Apply primer coat of CRYLOTECH STD by diluting with one part of water. Allow it to dry for 3 – 4 hours. Crack filling should be done in which all hairline cracks are sealed in ELASTOMERIC CRACK SEALENT – CRYLOFLEX (if required). Allow it to cure Overnight. Apply finishing coat of Material directly and allow to cure for 24 hour. Apply CRYLOTECH STD liquid by brush, trowel or rubber squeegee. For large areas CRYLOTECH STD can be spray applied. Recommended installation thickness is 100 microns for walls. It is recommended to allow 24 hours between applications of each coat.

COVERAGE

Recommended coverage is 0.25Kg/Sq m in 2 to 3 coats, depending upon substrate.

CURING

CRYLOTECH STD cures in contact with air.. It is recommended that no water comes in direct contact with CRYLOTECH STD at least for 24 hours after application.

Result

As a Elastomeric paint the coating shall provide waterproofing for 2-3 years.

PACKAGING AND SHELF LIFE

CYRLOTECH STD is packaged in 20, 50, 100 or 200 litre containers. stored in a cool and dry environment. CRYLOTECH STD has a shelf life of 12 months.

TOOL CLEANING

Tools should be cleaned with water before CRYLOTECH STD hardens.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

CRYLOTECH STD is alkaline and should not come into contact with skin or eyes. Splashes to eyes Should be washed immediately.
